@evansville70 To answer your question directly, it gave us the least popular congress in history. One where routine acts of a functioning government were turned into manufactured crises; destructive political games of chicken all for the sake of undermining the fragile economy. All in order that Obama be blamed for it.

Amazing that after all this time... Repubs are still focused on negative campaigning and insulting Obama rather than coming up with their own plans. Exactly what McCain did, and he lost miserably. They even have PALIN as their top cheerleader/spokesperson or whatever. They want her as the face of their party, where its her nasty, divisive idiocy that lost it for McCain. They want to lose more, lol
