What's funny is, all he's showing is that it is simple turning it on. Everything is simple once it's already set up, but he never showed the real set up. What about installing the intel wireless program on your computer? What about the input settings on your tv? Setting up the speakers? Setting the resolution? What if someone just said "Look how easy this is to install this program" and he just showed himself starting the program... This is not informative at all.

@LeeTheWatcher to be fair, most laptop vendors pre-install intel software for managing intel graphics. I guess the same with WiDi software. also when you plug your laptop with win7 with hdmi cable first time, it's automatically set to mirroring your laptop lcd with the same resolution as laptop lcd. it's much easier today than few years ago

Again this is corded more than a cable! You have to buy the receiver...plug it into the wall with a cord, then take a cord and plug it into the TV...then have a Widi enabled device....turn it on and then find room for another fucking black box under and connected to your TV. How many fucking black boxes can one connect to there TV...Am I doing research at NASA or I'm I trying to watch the little damn mermaid with my 5 year old cousin!

please help i have a samsung rv520-w01 and its widi/wimax cabable. The set up was troublesome but i managed, my question is how come i'm not getting no sound out of my tv only thru my laptop speaker???? The netgear device is wired with a hdmi cable.....Is it a windows problem? Please help

@pantsiosk Using the Intel WiDi widget, you go to the window (on your laptop) you want to appear on your television, then click the Arrow button and it sends it to the TV.

@HP Highest resolution today is 1366 x 768 which is a bit bigger than 720 p. 1366 x 768 happens to be the default size for most laptops
