Going straight into defib without CPR for someone in VF is useless anyway - the heart is still clogged with blood and will not return to normal mechanical rhythm until some of the blood has been moved out.
Grrr I hate medical inaccuracies.

lol get that one all the time.... all the time. Its like they think the heart is a car battery and you can just jump start it. Maybe us using that lingo doesn't help, but really, I wish movies and TV would quit giving these false impressions. It just makes our job all that much harder.
