  • @jackkthefuckingreat exactly you are in college. you know it all. i said i did not know anything about existentialism. ask your teacher about the eternal return and if nietzsche's goal was to destroy nihlism. there is to much to say about it. im not disagreeing bud. as i have said i dont care about existentialism. im aware of all the players and the stage. look for yourself. people say dostoevsky was a nilhlist at heart. he may have felt it. but he faught against it.

  • @jackkthefuckingreat I honestly cannot believe you'd manage 'beyond good and evil' if you don't even start sentences with capital letters.

  • @jackkthefuckingreat You should at least have a basic understanding of phenomenology and existentialism as, to some degree, they have done what you claim Nietzsche was trying to do. The only thing i will agree with you on is his optimism; pure resilience in the face of adversity. Tell me what have you done to study Nietzsche?

  • @aqueenowlbee What your saying about Nietzsche isn't correct either, I've read his books and i am a philosophy student. That's sad if you've been "studying him" for ten years. What he wrote was nihilistic by definition. Also he strongly influenced existentialist thought, and i think if you read what i said you'll see i never said he was an existentialist. Also if you study Nietzsche and don't bother with looking at how his ideas progressed is ridiculous.

  • fap fap fap

  • @jackkthefuckingreat i did not say he was called an existentialst. i have read what you are saying. i maybe wrong. im not really into existentialism. i think it is for children that are mad at the world. and nietzsche is Not an existentialist. no matter what you say. he is not even a nihilist either. ive been studying nietzshe for ten years. he was searching for the cure to nihilism. he is a an optimist in the highest degree! i know how they lump people in together doesnt make it so.

  • @jackkthefuckingreat in plain English god has given you a pre-defined purpose before your existence. It is the other way round for atheist existentialism- we exist then create our purpose.

  • @aqueenowlbee @aqueenowlbee Your wrong the first existentialist was not Dostoevsky, he just wrote about existentialist themes in his literary works. Kierkegaard and Nietzsche are the first philosophers considered to be fundamental to existentialism. Prose and philosophy are very different. In christian existentialism it is believed your essence proceeds your existence...

  • @emilythebravee I understood him. Maybe you could avoid confusion if you wrote somewhere that your reading from a book?
