This is an extremely rare recording of "Lullaby of the Bells", a beautiful piece of music from the Claude Rains movie "Phantom of the Opera" (1943). I think it was composed by Edward Ward and in this case is performed by Santiago Rodreigez, I think.

I put in a few images from the movie, hope you enjoy!

  • @LerouxsPhantom For me it would be Don Juan Triumphant.

  • @Scar2401 Yeah, but he stole it from the prop room, if you remember in the beginning when he killed Corlatta, or however you spell it, she said "Take of that prop room mask!" He had no other choice really. And what is weird is that the acid would have covered his whole face, becaue that's where it went, but only half was covered...

  • @Kirby9996 yeah it was a full mask, and yet, only half of his face was disfigured...

  • VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

  • One of my fall goals is to learn how to play this on the piano. Since I can' t read music, it'll be entirely by ear, and it'll probably suck, but it's worth a shot. This piece is beautiful.

  • the creepiest thing about this movie is the way he talks stalks and abducts christine

  • @scarface12347 Yeah, that's because he was awesome, and because it was a full mask. I want one! They are so awesomely rare. I think if I ever find one, I would pay any price, even $4,000,000.00 it's worth it, that's why.

  • claude rains had the coolest mask ever

  • I still can't decide which is more beautiful out of this, Joan's Aria from the 1962 version or Don Juan Triumphant from the 1989 movie. They're all wonderful!
