    At high speeds when you cut the power it automatically stops?

  • Power supply is always on to keep motor in position. It's the step pulse train that stops.

    I never tried to switch power off at high speeds, but I think motor will slow down and then stop after energy gets dissipated in output stage diodes.

  • I built it myself. It has 2 discrete mosfet H-Bridges and an allegro chip to drive them.
