Well...guys, I recently brought Vanilla Bean to the vet for a checkup...see if she's healthy and all (Which she is. The Vet told me that I'm doing a great job taking care of her! :D) and I asked her about the foot. She just said she was probably born like that and it looked like a genetic defect, which I'm not mad about cuz it makes her more unique. :) Thanks everyone for your concern :) I appreciate all the help that you guys have given me and vBean!

Love,
Belinda and Vanilla Bean

****I meant to say "No fur on her toe" not "No skin" She has skin..just no fur.****

Thank you everyone for the advice...

Unfortunately, she has passed way. RIP my sweet Vanilla Bean 8.31.08 x33

  • @dieasyous1eep seems all ur chins "pass away" pretty quick ie. shadow as well...ur chin had ringworm on her feet in this video (if no one told you) probably from not disinfecting her cage or never changing the dust out for each bath....u need to read more about chins

  • @kizzyizzle64 Lol. In the other video, I meant Vanilla Bean died. Shadow is still active and well. I've had him for about 4 years now. And she didn't have ringworm. She was born that way. I even brought her to the vet. You think I would let my chinchilla live in a disgusting cage and never give her new dust to bathe in? Don't tell me to read more about chins because I'm very capable of taking care of them.

  • i think your chinchilla may have had infected feet i dont think its anything to worry about, the same thing happened to my chinchillas well one of them but they returned back to normal in a week or so

  • Thank you. That may be it. But she has a tiny middle toe...I'm thinking it just may have not grown in right.
