Using a Canon IXUS750 with only 1gb. A short video of the Leeds Castle 2011 fireworks display. With the limited video I had to work with it meant I had to overdub a soundtrack and edit my footage to that. The overdub is Jean Michel Jarre - Eldorado. In fact, maybe Leeds Castle should get the big guy in for a one off concert. To show them how its done.

The actualy display was brilliant. The lighting, projections and music on the night were spot on, totally syncronised and very impressive. HOWEVER, the PA was, as usual, badly placed and inadequate. I appreciate they've got a long distance to throw the sound. But there is plenty of scope to sort that out. The odd delay tower..etc.

Anyway. This was maybe the best display they've had at Leeds Castle, purely because it all fitted together so well.

I've deliberately left the end finale with the original soundtrack, so you can hear / not hear that Star Wars is actually playing. Bad PA, damn you. About time Leeds Castle had the brains to figure out you need a stack to the left of the castle for a complete spread.

  • I already visit some JMJ concerts, but all were inside... beautiful lasers and lightning. One day I hope to join a concert with not only his music, but also lasers who disappear in the night and with fireworks like those. Thnx fur loading it up!
