An acoustic experiment at the UK's National Physical Laboratory's reverberation chamber. No two surfaces are parallel allowing sound to propagate for long periods of time. Read about the experiment here:

  • there is a band called Amiina from Iceland, who also uses these kind of metal saws ad a musical instrument, pretty impressive. i love it how you can change note by bending the steel.

  • I'd imagine they would use some sort of material (maybe a plastic or metal??), rather than ordinary paint.
