I love short eyes and this movie. I never knew till today they were connected or that mr pinero was in so many shows i liked.

A little, Nuyorican/Pinero history.... I was on the set of Sugar Hill as Wesley's stand in and gave a flyer to the director (Leon Ischaso) for a play I was directing at the Nuyorican at that time
.... Hence the embryo for the idea for Leon to do a film about the life and times of Miguel Pinero..... I am also proud to have been a member of the cast of this masterpiece!!! Jake the Pimp.....

Thanks, Jonezstar, just saw the movie on TV, and feel as if I'll gladly never recover. Bratt shone out the pain, the power, the brilliance of Miguel Pinero.
