they couldn't shut the engines off? ha ha, some safety system. there almost has to be major negligence here, as i find it hard to believe there were NO OPTIONS other than a full speed slam into the dock.
so there was a "steering malfunction" yet it just happened to hit dead center of the slip, just like a normal docking?
horseshit. TWO staten island ferries out of commission due to crashes in less than a year, has that ever happened before?
