Sylvia Hotel ( Cheryl Wheeler cover )

Cheryl Wheeler stayed in the Sylvia Hotel in Vancouver after a gig. Maybe she felt blue, and also the amazing view from the bar over English Bay inspired her to write this beautiful song.
I was so lucky to get the chance to stay in the Sylvia Hotel in 2007, sat in this bar and enjoyed the view over English Bay. The athmosphere was perfect, including the rain that is mentioned in the song but I also could take pictures of the beautiful sunset.
I love this song and i had to try it:-)

I love your interpretation and pictures of the hotel. I love the Sylvia Hotel, my hubby and I lived nearby there when we'd first immigrated to Canada. You can read what Cheryl's official website says of her time at the Sylvia Hotel, she really did stay there while writing this song.
