Houston nutt is not that bad of a coach but who in the Hell can win consistently at Ole Miss? Bear bryant himself couldnt turn that dog of a program around. Its not nutts fault.
@dtrain711 I'm a Mississippi State fan, and I wanted Jevan Snead to succeed. I still believe he was sold short by Houston Nutt. He DOES know EXACTLY how to ruin a quarterback, or better yet DOESN'T know how to DEVELOP a quarterback. He sold his soul when he went out for a convict last year and for what?? A 4-8 record? He'd have been better off playing Stanley, having a 4-8 record, and actually giving him a year of experience. Good luck to y'all...I'm hoping for 3 in a row and 4 of the last 5
@Rasmere Yes, you are right. He done well at Arkansas with the previous coaching staffs recruits for the first two years. I think he lost the bowl games those years though, maybe 1-1.. Overall he was 2-5 in bowl games at Arkansas. His conference record was 42-38 which is a bit over the .500 mark. He won 0 conference championships. It seems to me Nutt has the ability to surround himself with great coaches, but lacks the ability to heed their advice. Boise and Ark, are doing better now.
@perkinsfan Actually Houston Nutt's Ole Miss was the underdog in both Cotton Bowl games, and then won them. So in reality he is 2-0 in Ole Miss bowl games.
You wanted him, you called for him.. Now deal with Houston Nutt.
ha ahahahahaha lmao... How could anybody want a coach with a 500 record in THEIR CONFERENCE. Not to mention the fact that his bowl record is atrocious.
Ya, because Arkansas' defense is SO STOUT. Wow...what an accomplishment. LOL...from #4 in the country with national championship predictions to pouring gatorade on Nutt after beating a weak Arkansas team. Keep it real bud.

What i'm saying is, if mediocrity is what you desire at Ole Miss, you have the right guy to get it done.

Yep. He sure knows how to ruin a quarterback. To the tune of 330 yards passing against Arkansas.
