  • @puppydays808 Thaaaanks :-)

  • could you train any horse to do tricks & does it matter how old they are?

  • @cowgirl141414 My horse was already nine years when I started training him and I've seen others that were much older. So i would say it depends on the individual horse and the connection of the rider to the horse.

  • awww very cute horse x well done x how do u teach them todo that ? x

  • @CarsInsider well, good luck with that! If it doesn't work immediately, don't worry, good things take their time and often it is about patience and improving your communication. And I tell you a secret: The first trick is the hardest! Once horses understand how much fun it is to learn trick and how it works, it becomes so much easier!

  • @Marenlene Awesome! Yea, I'd love to teach her any of these tricks that you think she'd be able to do at her age. If it helps, i'll let you know that she's somewht stubborn and very lazy, but she lives for human affection, especially from me. She's a dressage and reining show horse.

I'll try the carrot thing tomorrow, i wouldn't be surprised if it works! ^^

  • @CarsInsider Yeah, I can keep and that in mind and do avid about that. I don't think a horse could be to old to learn the 'follow me'. Does your horse like carrrots? you can start asking your horse to follow you when you have a carrot in your hand. once a horse understands that it should follow you can do it without a carrot. Just give it a go, it is easier than it looks :-)

  • Could you do a vid explaining how you get them to follow you, and do you think i could train my 18 year old quarter mare to do that?? :]
