There are a lot of flaws in this film when it comes to facts. Anne never slept by the window, the desk is turned the wrong way and her Mother never knew about the letter she wrote to her Father. The letter was for her father no one else.

This Otto Frank in this version is too soft and mushy.
"Ben Kinsley" was commanding yet subtle...

@MelonElen they were in that annex!!!anything, any distraction i think ,was enough for her or that matter anybody it was welcomed .she found her getting attracted towards peter because of it i guess.And the parents got to talk about something.In a way they were all engaged for some days because of it.staying in the same place must have not been easy..and that to for a teenager more difficult.so i like to think thats why she got attracted to him

@AnneAulisRobin If Anne Frank hadn't died, and she finished and published her Diary, then teenagers in the U.S. would still be shooting eachother in the streets because of racism.
