I was at the mass last night, and agree, the homily was abominable. All of us waited so long to hear the reasons for the closing, and this was all we got. Why St. James, and why not one of the other Lakewood parishes? Very unsatisfying. the way the whole process was handled was really atrocious.

Same homily from St. Wendeline's and St Pat's...I guess this gets easier for him since it is a canned homily. Cold...no feeling...and to be repeated again at the next closing. How does a church today depose a bishop?? Anyone know?? Such power is despicable.
