Ok one problem with the train, there's a third rail, there where very very few fully electric railways in the UK in 1930-40. Only in the 60's did full electification happen.

With this information i think there could be a way to stop the murderer. In a smaller cities with this situation (first and second name start the same way.

There isn't many peoples who have such knid of names.

I think beacuse the murderer probably never seen his/she's victim before they should exchange the suspected victims to a police women (untill now only die womens). And hide some guard who can help/rpotect the persons.

I also mist something. Poirot Belgian words/sayings...

By the way I'm suprised a little. First the murderer is kill somebody who's names is Start A (A. Asher, first and second names) in a place, which name is start with A.

Then he/she go in a place which which name, the victim first and second name start with B. And probably the next will be in a place name, victim' first and second name with C.
