Carson's POV

"Rick." I giggled. "Stop."

There I was sitting on a couch with an attractive boy nibbling on my ear. I called him Rick. I didn't recognise him, but he seemed strangely familiar. I was comfortable with him, and that instinct let me dream about him continuously. Thing is, this dream had been dragging on alot. Sometimes we were kissing on a sofa. Other times it was an un-familiar bedroom. Other times we'd be arguing, but the same comfortable feeling was always there. The boy had dark black hair and tanned skin. His smile was amazing and I felt attached to him. Could I become so strongly attached to somebody without even knowing their name? In some of my dreams there were other people. Two boys with bushy hair frequently appeared, with girls of their own. They looked like sisters, but I still didn't recognise them.

"Rick, somebody's coming." I squealed, pushing him away from me.

The two boys entered the room, Owen and Harry as I had named them. If they kept appearing they needed names. Their girls had being dubbed Claire and Helen. It was easier this way, to see people if I named them. I could hardly call him bushy boy number one, and bushy boy number two. It was too impersonal.

"Carson, wake up." they chanted.

There they went again. All my dreams ended with me being told to wake up. But the thing was, I never did. I just drifted into un-conciousness, and re-appeared again a few hours later, again with Rick, with that same feeling still prominent. Sometimes when Rick held my hand, I swear a jolt went through my system, alerting me that something was wrong, but I couldn't place it.

"Wake up Carson." they whispered, until the blackness took over.

Joe's POV

I couldn't sleep. How could I sleep. Carson could be awake. But Nick did promise to call. The whole Carson thing had my body off-balance. I didn't eat frequently, I slept about 8 hours a week, and I hadn't written a song since that night. I hadn't even picked up my guitar. I paced around my room, trying to calm down enough to sit still.

"Joe, can I come in?" Kevin asked.
"Go ahead." I answered, sitting on the edge of my bed.
"I have to tell you something."
"Is it Carson? Is she awake?" I asked, hoping I hadn't heard the phone ring.
"No." he said flatly. "I was speaking with the Doctors, and they want to take Carson off life support."
"But, she can't survive without it." I spluttered, my mind panicking.

This was it. I saw this coming, yet it still hit me hard. Carson wasn't going to wake up. Everybody knew it, besides me. I crumpled to the floor and Kevin was quickly at my side. I grabbed onto him, hoping he'd piece me back together.

"How can I survive without her Kevin?" I sobbed. "She's everything."
"I know Joe." he soothed. "I'll help you through this." he promised.

After 10 minutes of crying into his shoulder I composed myself and allowed Kevin to leave the room. And for the first time in 2 months, I picked up my Guitar, and began playing.

Hayley's POV

"Poor Joe." I sighed.
"The Doctors have it schedualed for friday."
"Friday! That's 2 days. I don't think I'll be ready." I whimpered.
"Hayley, I'll be here. I think it's Joe who's gonna find it hard. He's being a vegetable since this happened."
"I don't know how he dealt with this. If you were Carson, I wouldn't have the strength to carry on." I whispered, a tear rolling across my cheek. Kevin softly wiped it away.
"Hayley. I'll never put you through that. I love you." he said.
"I love you too Kevin."

I kissed his lips passionatly, and the kiss soon became filled with emotion. I pressed myself into him, and he held onto my tightly, not wanting to allow any distance between us. I wrapped my legs around his waist, and began sucking on his neck.

"I love you Hayls." he whispered, while I kissed him lovingly.
"You too Kev. Forever."

Last chapter for the marathon.
I have some great ideas for this season coming together, and it's gonna be drama packed!
