You really picked the wrong country to make that argument. Iceland doesn't have serial killers, crimes are very low and it has very clean energy, in fact, Iceland is one of the cleanest countries in the world.

Jokes aside, as an Icelander. I can say that this is far from the truth. I didn't even know we were supposedly known for this until i heard a foreigner say it, in a video much like this. Maybe go back a 1000 years and this might be true.

Yes I'm happy for your sake as for a women to be stuck in the prison of Islam is an awful fate. You mentioned you to be a girl so I felt it a good idea to point out the oppression of women that goes on in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the now sadly "London-stan", Amsterdam, Brussells, Malmo... you wont have to put up with it in Iceland thankfully. I'm an American but from my own prep work for a possibly visit myself Icelanders dont partake in the misogynistic ways of Muslims and their Islamic immigrant community (for now) is too small to cause problems as is the case sadly in Denmark, The Netherlands, London, etc.

iIm part Icelander but I live in England- I do however go on holidays there. Anyway the best time would be during march-october as Iceland gets very cold and spends most of its time in the dark during the winter months. If you don't mind very long summer days; the summer months would be perfect. In regards to racism don't worry about it, the Icelanders are one of the most open minded tolerant countries there is; grumpy but friendly. Any more questions just ask

Iceland is such a cool place - my mum travels there from Ireland every August to paint.

Everybody should go at least once - Thingvellir National Park is stunning; it's unlike anywhere else in Europe. The people are really nice too - buy I've never met any who believe in elves or pixies lol
