I secretly hope to touch listeners by bringing them to the very heart of their soul, where dreams and fragility live free .. .. .."


Amethyste was born in Montreal Canada and is now living in the USA with her husband Gunnar Spardel who is also a music composer. They both met in 2005 and have been together ever since. They have combined their talent to bring really beautiful and ethereal music over 6 years. Amethyste is finishing up her 4th CD titled "Deliverance" and is due for release in May 2011. It can be quite a difficult task trying to classify her music into a specific genre. I would say that Amethyste's style of vocals are of an Ethereal, Seductive and Dreamy nature. Her influence is a blend of classical, pop and ambient. Artists like Vangelis, Mylene Farmer, Sarah Brightman have played an important role in the development of her own style. Just close your eyes, and let yourself be transported to a serene world where you can dream and escape even if only for a brief moment...

The song was composed by Gunnar Spardel. Chad Klink plays the piano in this beautiful piece.

@EtherealTristesse Yes!!! That's the scene, I can see it too. Ok...hollywood producers don't miss out on this theme song for your next box office hit...and the soundtrack will go platinum for sure. I love it and everyone that I have played it for feels the same way...this definitely needs to be in a movie.

Had to come back for another listen. Some hollywood producer should put this in a movie! Can't you just imagine this playing in the background of a dramatic love story???
