Saw them in 86,in Hollywood,Ca.,and they were incredible. Got my eye blacked there too,when Shane gave me a bottle of Guinness.Somebody else wanted my bottle,and it was no go with me.I held onto it with both hands and the guy blacked my eye for me.Lol! Shane got security to remove him,and I got to sit onstage for the rest of the show.

are you serious? focusing on his TEETH when he has unbelievable spirit, the ability to sing exceptionally complicated lyrics and freaking awesome, frantic guitar playing............. some people just dont recognize extraordinary talent.

Bless his heart! Only Shane MacGowan would attempt such a manic, ramped up version of this incredibly lyric-laden song - and succeed at it (well, except for what seems like a tiny memory lapse at 0:54) and even then he is rolling his eyes at the complexity/fun of it all! He is the BEST! But what is going on with Spider - at first I thought he was reminding Shane (with hand signals) which year he was up too, but it looks like somethign else is going on....... anyway, a TERIFFIC video. THANKS!!!!!
