The King's Speech made it's world premiere last night at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival. Colin Firth (on his 50th birthday) and Geoffrey Rush arrived in style to The King's Speech premiere and after party at the Windsor Arms Hotel.




Showbiz411.com's Roger Friedman had a chance to speak with Geoffrey Rush on camera about his film that has already been generating serious Oscar buzz.

The King's Speech will be released by Harvey Weinstein and The Weinstein Company in November.

From Wikipedia: The King's Speech is a historical drama film directed by Tom Hooper from a script by David Seidler. The film stars Colin Firth as King George VI and Geoffrey Rush as speech therapist Lionel Logue, who helped George overcome a stammer. Filming commenced in the United Kingdom in November 2009. The film is set for a limited release in the United States on 26 November 2010.
