@TATER1971 It was Plamateer's only series of note. The guy sucked before the series and sucked after. The Lafs got all hopped up and intimidated the islanders during the series with a lot of dirty play. Two years later New york fucked their shit up good in a three game sweep and nothing was ever heard from the leafs again.

You missed the best part of the fight, the beginning. It's great when a goalie starts swinging away with his blocker. This is the 1978 Quarterfinal series between the Islanders and Leafs. It went 7 and Lanny McDonald got the series winner in OT at Nassau Coliseum. A pretty big upset considering The Isles had about 20 more points than Toronto during the regular season.
