Why Mom, Why? A Nick Jonas Love Story Chapter 1

Joni's pov

(I sat in my room, as it rained outside. My best friends were touring around the country, and I couldnt go with them. My mom said that I could go next tour, which I didnt get, seeing as I never was aloud to go. Since a few months ago, I'm homeschooled. But that was after they left for tour. Danielle, Kevin's wife, could go with them. But she's married with one of them, and I'm not. You maybe wondering who those best friends are, maybe you already guessed it. I'm talking about the Jonas Brothers. It's now June 2010. Dani and I became real good friends over the years, seeing as Nick and I were inseparable since birth. See, I and Nick were born on the same day. Our parents met at the hospital, and became really good friends as well. My older sister Shanna clicked with Joe very soon, too. The Jonas household is like my second family, and otherwise too. Everyone gets along great. My life was great, until my father died. Nine years ago he had a stroke, and passed away in the hospital. The very same hospital where Nick and I were born. I was a wreck, just like my mom. But the Jonas family took care for us, and I'm really thankful for that. You dont see a lot of helpful people anymore.

I looked out of my window. Tomorrow they would come back. Tomorrow HE would come back. The love of my life, and my best friend. Both the same person. See, I am in love with Nick. I know, it's stupid to fall in love with your best friend, but I just couldn't help it. He was amazing. He always acted like a gentleman, he was caring, sweet, and funny. And my heart just melts when I see that lucious smile of him. My mom snapped me out of my thoughts.)
Mrs.S: Joni, come! Dinner is getting cold.
(I sighed, and stood up from my beanie chair.)
Joni: Coming!
(I walked through the huge house. My dad was rich, and had a huge life insurance, so we were pretty much rich now. But Im really not snobby about it. I'd rather keep quiet about it. When I reached the kitchen, I saw that Shanna aready sat at our table, munching at her food. She was my sister, but also my best friend. I sat next to her.)
Joni: Hey, bestie!
Shanna: Hey sis.
(She didnt even take her eyes off of her food. No, it isnt that shes mad at me, she just loves food. My mom put a plate of her delicious lasagna in front of me. I grabbed my fork, and started eating.)
Mrs.S: So the boys are coming home tomorrow.
Shanna: Yeah, I know. I cant wait to see Joey-Bear again.
(Oh, yeah I forgot to mention that, they are kind of a thing now. Theyre cute together, but sometimes just plain disgusting... All of a sudden Juliet, my sister, popped up in my mind.)
Joni: Mom?
Mrs.S: Yes, sweetie?
Joni: Where's Juliet?
Mrs.S: Oh, shes in her room. She wasnt feeling very good today.
(I did an inner fist pump. I hated that kid. Well, hate is a big word. I just disliked her with a strong passion. She always had to have everything. She's freaking eleven and already has twelve bras! That kid has nothing! Like seriously, shes just like a wooden plank! Well, not really... Kind of like a weird looking plank. Her butt sticks out amazingly wrong, and she always pushes her stomache forward. I heard Shanna mumble something under her breath, what only I could hear.)
Shanna: Good for her
(I giggled, and then got a strange look from my mom. I tried to keep a straight face, and it could have worked if I didnt look at Shanna. Its seriously weird. We just burst out laughing for no reason sometimes. And we totally think the same, say the same, we have the same taste in fashion... It's getting annoying. But whatever. The only thing that matters is that we have a strong bond. We didnt have a lot of friends in school, unlike Juliet, who already has a whole club of girls whom she can boss around, so we were constantly with eachother. Nick was homeschooled all the time, so I didnt have him, and Shanna didnt have Joe. I cleared my throat, and managed to keep a straight face. My mom seemed to have shrugged of the situation, cause she was focussing on her food, but she still kept one eye on us. I cleared my throat again.)
