Hydrant flushing using the HYDRO-HITCH

The Hydro-Hitch is used primarily for hydrant or above ground piping system flushing or draining. With the Hydro-Hitch and the various attachments the user can control the water discharge in any direction. Flush both side nozzles or steamer ports with just one Hydro-Hitch. Record fire hydrants GPM flows or Dechlorinate with our Aqua-D-Chlor.

In an emergency situation the Hydro-Hitch can be pressurized and used to fight brush fires. Attach your LDH to the 5" storz connection and add any number of attachments such as ball valves, gated wyes, slow opening gate valves or clappered siamese connections. Install fire hoses with nozzles and start fire fighting.

In the event of an emergency situation where personal must leave the scene imediately, pull the hitch pin and clip and drop the Hydro-hitch onto the ground. Fire truck or brush truck can leave within seconds. The hydro-hitch can be used like a portable manifold on the ground or attached to the truck.
