Wow! hi-end system like yours and FPS looks "real slow" this game need alot of work...WoP looks great and has good FPS I can even play it on my laptop ATI mobile 3650 512mb dedicated video ram,if they ever patch WOP up to more Sim like standards it will beat this to hell!

@triplea007 your system allocates 5gb, but it dont means that your softs use all that ram allocated
see the required rig for sims 3 : 1gb for xp, 1,5gb for vista
for example Crysis (which stay the most beautiful game on pc) dont need more than 1gb on xp neither
thinks that a lot of games today are developed for pc and console together, and consoles have only 512mb (system ram + video ram)

why does no-one turn on the gunsight light?
I am running this on an 8800gt with 4gb ram and an old processor, unless you are flying over france or britain (ie you are in the channel or flying one of the mp maps) fps is 25-30.

Anyone know if TrackIR's move left/right (X) axis, move in/out (Z) axis and ROLL- tilt left/right will for work in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946? Cant get it working for me...BUT, glad to see it does for COD. thanks

@sinbindinchin edit CONFIG.INI, look for trees= line and put "tress =4".
