@navylife54 Plane is only built that way after the lessons they learned from those bombers ;)

Amazing story finally they do come home, we owe them so much.

@bad74maverick1. You are talking about 'Witchcraft'. I saw it at a Wings of Freedom show in Tyler, Texas back in the Early Spring. Many years ago I had the opportunity to assist changing the oil on the #3 engine of one of those converted B-24s, 'Diamond Lil'. I had to decline due to a bitchy wife who had enough of the museum. Two mistakes I will not repeat. BTW... I am a C-130T Loadmaster for the Navy. The Mighty Herc is built like a tank compared to WWII bombers. We fly w/ the doors ope

@navylife54 More for corporate greed than keeping us safe. War is to make the rich richer & the poor poorer, has nothing to do with freedom blah blah blah. Don't you think that if the government fucked off and let people live together like how they were supposed to we wouldn't be going to wars spending trillions of dollars and losing thousands of lives? over GREED, POWER & CONTROL. Soldiers are finally starting to wake up and see the big picture about what war is REALLY about.

I remember reading about this in the Globe..such an awesome story. Glad they found the missing soldiers.

@cbarsonfire It's wonderful you remember your uncle and the crew and by that give homage to them that way. Reminder of so many other families still waiting for the return of their loved ones.

Makes you wonder something the media and the inaccuracy of what they’re talking about. They call airmen soldiers and they talk about B25’s but show B17’s. Not major grave errors I guess but still it makes me wonder about subjects that I don’t know about and wouldn’t be able to pick out the discrepancies …..never the less I’m happy for the family’s now able to have some closure
if you can read this...thank a teacher. If you are reading this in ENGLISH... THANK A VETERAN

My utmost respect and admiration to true heroes that risked all to keep us safe. Everyone should remember that sacrifice. We still have heroes today that follow in their footsteps. Make no mistake, they may be from a different era, but they are still cut from the same cloth. That of a true American Soldier, Sailor, and Airman.
