Eggbertsmith, if people didn't care about peoples projects, why are YOU on here? You contradict yourself constantly. Where are all your video's? Cant afford film?
DIY & low costs is being smart. Why do billions of people buy consumer digital camcorders & cameras? It reflects their budget or all they need. Also who wants to carry around a huuuge weighty film camera? If film was cheap all us kids would be using it.
Your ignorance is humorous, so is your point. The special bus awaits you son!

Do you want to know why we don't use film? Because its expensive. Film guys always talk about how great film is and all the great things they'd do if they could afford film and processing. But video guys don't talk, they do.
So, now with affordable HD that looks better than 16mm stock and even some 35mm....why do film at all?
I could shoot video that looks so good that you'd think I even shot it with film. Get out of the past, embrace the digital age. FIlm is dying, if not dead already.

I use Apple Final Cut Pro to rotate the image 180 degrees and it seems to work fine with almost no loss in quality.

Congratulations dude. i think this is the best 35 mm selfmade thing i've seen so far. for years now, i'm dreaming of a way to get as close as possible to film look.
