Just cant get excited with todays music. It's all corporate owned and they have taken the art away from the artist. These bands/ singers today are corporate owned and operated like puppets. Their told what to sing and do on stage etc...... That's not art anymore, thats a puppet show. How would it be if Led Zeppelin were in their prime today. They would be Led Zeppelin, Inc. I hate it. Leave the art up to the artist!

You folks need to understand that the Spanish conquistadors worked mainly as diplomats. The ONLY reason that Cortés was able to conquer México was that the Aztec were cruel, bloodthirsty motherfuckers that were hated by just about every one of their neighbors. Cortés saw a divided landscape and he took advantage of it. Don't forget that Cortés was a law school dropout with more of a penchant for negotiation and motivation than fighting. He persuaded all of the Aztec's rivals to join his army.

Lots of history being debated here...do you imagine the native Americans were any less barbaric before the arrival of the Spanish and Portuguese? Sun worship and ritual slaughter were a way of life before the Conquistadores refined it to an industrial level.
