It amazes me how so many people spread false knowledge here Most Haitians are Black NOT MIX they are direct descendants of West Africans brought there by the French most of the indigenous population was wiped out before the Africans were brought there and the Africans defeated the French Haiti is one of the first Black republics and one of the only Black countries to gain Independence through rebellion there are a minority of White and Mix Haitians most of them live in other countries

Haiti is not like the Dominican Republic Most Dominicans are mix race although you do have some Black Dominicans and even some who are White whereas the majority of Haiti's population are Black and mix and White Haitians are a minority
