@fecalfoetus Is Annapurna Devi his mother? I mean his biological mother?

An extraordinary combination, very beautiful. A mystical fusion of hearts, musical passion and oneness through God's Grace.

No, you are confusing him with the late Shubhendra Shankar after whom he was named.

very beautiful! I was fortunate to listen to both Mr and Mrs. Rao in Des Moines, Iowa. They played Hamsa Dhawani and Pancham se Ghara. Mr. Rao is such a wonderful and nice person. Very down to earth and very knowledgeable. I hope they come our way again someday. I wish them both good luck in their endeavours. They are truly very talented musicians! :)

i think actually his mother Annapurna Devi (the divine musician) Ravi's firts wife, trained hin Sitar. I believe Annapurna is unmatched in her muscial genius, which was guided by hr father, the Late Baba Allaudin Khan.
