watched this movie in french class a few years ago.
what a pity that it was in french and i couldnt understand shit what they were saying and totally missed that the film is actually quite well

@MrEllenwork It analyzes the small intricacies of human nature, the things many people overlook. It also depicts how good deeds don't always grant good results. Amélie becomes heartbroken after all that she has done for other people. Also, the simplicity seems to contradict much of the complicated movies that use special effects to attract an audience. This film is beautiful.
