Tibet 1985 009 Lhasa Amazing Crowd

009 shows a big crowd of Tibetans gathering in the center of old Lhasa to watch Gunther and Matheus playing with a soccer ball. Then following us down the street as we filmed.
In 1985 I bought one of the first Sony video cameras for the consumer market. Living in Japan I took a trip to China. While in Chengdu got permission to go to Tibet. I was joined by 2 Germans whom I met in Chengdu: Matheus and Gunther. We traveled all around Tibet after renting a van with driver in Lhasa. The locals in Tibet were fascinated by the camera and thus there are many crowds and interesting scenes. I cannot speak Tibetan but I am fluent in Chinese so we managed to get to a lot of places that were not being toured at that time in Tibet.
