THis video probably has no point to most viewers... it's more for some close friends to go back in time to see how 'we use to be'. All of us no longer look the way we do in this video. besides looks, the jokes, and the way we were has changed... so this video is just a good memorie video. There will be others like this to come.
But... if you are thinking about lifting your Isuzu rodeo shoot me a comment or mail, i also have a video of the body lift that eventually i'll come accross. i can make a full lift video only.
Note, Chuck, the lift installer, appears a few times riding a 80's Ninja. this was his first bike and the new beggining that he didn't know of at the time. Chuck got into superbike racing, and now orks at H&B MACHINES, a bike shop located in Trenton NJ, that customizes all sorts of bikes.
This video might bring some old memories back... the roots!!!

As for me, the Rodeo lasted me 13 years with 197,000 miles. engine never broke and i changed the oil every 5 to 10,000 miles. never changed the timing chain and the only thing that went bad on it, was the rear axle (3 times). this was due to the oversize tires. For Chevy fans, the 91 and 92 Rodeo came with the Chevy Blazer 3.1 V6 engine (GM)... so i'm surprised it lasted this long... i sold the truck and ran fine... never saw it again.

Enjoy, and comment away.

  • What did you use to lift your rig? I have a 96 and go mudding all the time.

  • @danfau07 - back then only one company made lift kits for Rodeo's - ww_w(d_ot)Calmini(d_otc_om)

now i think there are others.

have fun, but i wouldn't use a rodeo again unless i were to put two solid axles in it, and possibly more HP. it was cool back then, since no one else had a lifted Rodeo

  • @danfau07 - Calmini(D.o.t.C.o.m) - back then it was the only compnay that made lifts for the rodeo. i'm sure there are more now, poke around in google.

  • Wheres the best cheapest places to buy those wheels?

  • @mik12788 - i'm sure Ebay, if not - go to Google, drop down to froogle, and that's how i find cheap tires. 33x14.50 Mickey Thompson's Baja HP's.
