This movie STUNK, but Halle has a forgivable excuse. She won an Oscar for Gothika, a really good movie with excellent acting from her. Shortly after, Catwoman came along and was so bad, it won a Razzie. Which it truly deserved. A Razzie is the exact opposite of an Oscar. My theory is that Halle got lazy after winning the Oscar. It`s forgivable and understandable.
