Yeah he goes di- diddle a ding a diddle a ding ding ding all the way down to a low ding. Took me ages to figure it out.

The only people here critiquing Ford are a bunch of bitter wannabes that didn't have it enough to get on the map.
Question: Why did this guitarist get BIG and not you?
A: Management? I don't think so. How about real talent.
Go write a column or something.

Screamy screechy awful arrangement (the Duke would have been cringing I think
lol) but great playing nonetheless from a young Robben Ford and Tom Scott

I think you're gonna be ok

@tony9L9L Thanks for pointing out the error of my ways Tony, I am obviously very confused. I'll start by practicing di dings and work my way up to dee diddle i di's, and hopefully crack it. I'll let you know how I get on.

@rfsrv1 No no no, its nothing to do with chinese gangs. No wonder you can't play it!
Its simple- it goes ding di ding di dee dee diddle i di (in the key of Hminor)

I love robben ford's.. but here.. he's young and had a lot to learn.. his solo is shit. NOT nice to play through the saxsolo.. he (FOrd) had his chance and didn't use it to much effect.. was hoping for it though... but in vain.. it's crap

Well, Coryell has had a better day also. Robben is a great player, as is Coryell, but you can't win them all, I guess :-)

Anyone know when this was recorded? Tom Scott looks very young there. mid 70's?

It is from a Lazerdisc, "All Strings Attached" recorded at the Wiltern Theatre in LA. I am not at home to look at the date, but you can google it and find the info. There were a series of about 5 different shows. It was also released on VHS and audio records, but so far no DVD
