  • what you have to do is eat the mushrooms lol or you can sell them

  • @MrStillSmokinWeed LOL if i knew they were safe i would, or maybe i wouldnt, lol,,, ive had my taste of shrooms back in the day ;)

  • The mushroom that you have been picking are really just the 'flowering' part the mushroom. The actual mushroom fungi is in the soil. So no matter how much you pick them, the "real culprit" is in the soil. I don't know much about mushroom and how to get rid of them, but I did just wanted to share that tid-bit of information. :) Oh yeah, I have a lot of Birds Nest mushroom in some of my pots. They don't seem to harm my plants so I just leave them.

  • @MyInspiredCreation Cool, thnx for the info, and yeah they seem to be doing no harm to mine as well, but i dont like seeing em all the time so i tend to pluck em out, got too many things growing now, no time for mushrooms, hahha, thnx for the input :)

  • There is something called Lepiota lutea or flowerpot mushroom. They can actually help break down organic matter in the soil; however, they are poisonous so should be kept away from kids and pets. I had one pot that they kept growing in. So i started watering the pot from the bottom, which kept the top of the soil dry, and I don't have them any more on that pot.

  • @anniequilts Hey great tip... i think im going to try the same... And yeah these ones are full of mushrooms, every couple days i have to pick a new few out of it! Weird, ive used this soil in the past so many times too and under the same conditions too but havent had this happen before....

  • There is mycilium in the soil that must be feeding off something mixed into the soil of you dont want these in there get new soil and cointaners remove all the dirt from the roots
