God of War - Swimming through Challenge of Hades part 2.

In these parts being able to swim would really save a lot of time. If a fast, magic-cheap way to set this up would be found, at least 5 minutes could be shaved off a speedrun! (note: well... not nowadays)

You can turn the boss-wheel while swimming. After some more testing, I can safely say that you can stop "swimmingness" after having turned the wheel, by simply going to the entrance pool (swimming out of bounds), bathing in it, getting out. The fight will start as normal, and as a glitchy bonus, the righthand gate isn't sealed off until you approach it.

While swimming, the bosses grabbing move will not grab Kratos, and it won't do any damage either. Kratos's swimmy grab (circle) makes the boss bleed heavily, and the horns at the upper corner flash red. Unfortunately I don't think that the boss actually receives any damage... You couldn't win the fight like this anyhow, since you can't pull the switch of the log shooting device. Would be otherwise a pretty humiliating defeat for the poor minotaur!

If you don't wait enough, the floor of the boss fight room won't load. At first I thought that this always happened (which would've ruined everything), but fortunately things can work out fine too.

Very Impressive. I notice the vid starts and you already have "swimmingness" how do you go about acquiring this trick? Is Dairy Bastard a necessity or will regen magic do?

At first i was like WTF??? swimming? and i found out its a glitch. then u read description and it says it cant damange bosses that much. well, quite useless sometimes. but a good glitch nonetheless. and funny thing is Kratos wears a character from PAIN, its a cow costume i think. lol

AKheon I found 2 glitches here. One is that when you open the door in the hall of flamin' balls and you go into the hall it lengthens when Kratos goes in. The second is that if you do a high jump to the platform that breaks it'll break and you can climb up it even though you can't turn the boss wheel and you can't see where you are going, also if you leave the broken platform and complete the challenge and return to open the boss wheel the platform will have mysteriously repaired itself.
