@Boca... It seems to me that jangling the listener "from their sweet reverie" was the whole point. And sometimes relationships do leave you feeling black'n blue..... just saying.....

Thanks! Actually I did that - he sent me the score and I learned the piece! I listened to yours and another recording for interpretation ideas :) Still have to play it for friends :)

Joel, you certainly provide a mesmerizing interpretation.

I can't help but wish the segment between 1:50 - 2:10

could have been less coarse so as not to jangle the

listener from their sweet reverie. I'm sure you're being

true to the composer's arrangement, but I wish it

could be bluesy without leaving us black 'n blue! ; )
