We ended up going to the mall first. Sarah's mom told her that a new make-up store had opened its doors. We decided to check it out -- buy a bunch of things -- then head to Starbucks.
'Gosh, why is everything so expensive?' Sarah exclaimed.
'Like what?' I asked.
'Like this palette over here! I mean, it only has 6 eye shadows, 2 blushes and 1 lip-gloss.'
'But it's so gorgeous!'
'But it's not worth 55 freaking dollars, is it?' She replied.
'Hmm, why don't you put it on your wish list for your birthday? It's just around the corner, anyway!'
'That's actually a very good idea! Thanks V.' She winked and went to the cashier.
I picked up the palette. The colors were truly beautiful, just like Sarah. It gave me another idea. My behavior today was quite ugly, so why not buy her something beautiful to make it up? I just hope she doesn't assume that I'm trying to buy my 'guilt' off.
'Is this a gift?' the checkout girl asked.
'Yes, please!' I replied.
She wrapped it with pretty glittery wrapping paper and put a gold ribbon on it. Sarah was going to looooooove this! She's your typical 'I-love-everything-that-sparkles'-girl. Unlike me.
Sarah was still standing in line, I quickly told her I was going to wait outside until she finished up. I kind of felt like pushing the palette in her hands. I couldn't wait to see the look on her face.

'Two medium chocolate Frappuccino's with extra whip cream, please.', I ordered our usual while Sarah picked out a table. Is it weird I always go to Starbucks for either hot chocolate or Frappuccino's? I've never ever had coffee or tea here. I don't like coffee and I almost never drink tea. Well, except Ice-Tea. That is a horrible addiction.
I took our drinks and walked to our table.
'Oh gosh, look at those cups filled with deliciousness!' Sarah said excited. I giggled and sat down.
'How much do I owe you?' Sarah continued while talking her wallet.
'Nothing', I said and smiled.
'Vanessa, don't start with me again, okay!' I can never take money when I have already paid for it. My parents never do either. I guess the apple doesn't fall from the tree.
'Oh, Shut up! By the way, I have something for you!' I added.
I took her gift out of my bag and put it on the table.

'What's that?' She asked.
'It's for you! Open it!' I replied excited.
'How? When did you get this?' It felt like the Spanish Inquisition. Sarah sometimes has this intimidating look in her eyes. It scares the crap out of me.
'Just open it, will you?!' I said and smiled.
She first slowly pulled of the ribbon, then she carefully ripped the wrapping paper. She always does that when she like the paper. Usually she collects them. Weird, huh?
'OH MY FREAKING GOD! Vanessa! I can't believe you bought this!' She jumped up and gave me a hug.
'I felt super bad for embarrassing you earlier today, so I was hoping this would make everything okay between us.'
'You didn't have to BUY me something to make it okay, though.' She replied.
'I know, I know, I just really wanted to get you this. I mean, I have a job, so it's not like I absolutely couldn't afford this.' She was smiling.
'But, weren't you saving up for a pair of Louboutins?' She asked a bit worried.
'I still am, but what's 50 bucks to it?'
'Are you sure? We can still go return this.' She said sincerely.
'Yes, I'm very sure!'
'That's very sweet, thank you V.!'
'No problem, guuuuurl.'
We finished our drinks and started heading home.

Hey awesome and lovely readers!

I hope you guys liked this chapter. Probably not because no memebers of Allstar Weekend were in this one. My apologies, but it isn't written their P.O.V.. My I should do my next story in the P.O.V. of one of the guys. Hmm, i'll think about it!
I don't like mixing P.O.V.'s though. I get frustrated when I read stories like that. So yeah :).

Anyway. My grandfather's funeral was yesterday. I cried the entire time. I manned up during my speech and continued being a waterfall afterwards.
I'm an emotional wreck at the moment. I'm not even myself... I don't really understand what's happening to me. Nobody probably reads this. So. yeah. Just going to stop now. So.
STOP
