Leek Market traders and shoppers pledge their support to help save their local presenters from the chop - Den on early doors & Paula afternoons, plus the other staff who keep the station on air.
They are going phone in on 03700 103 100 to voice their concerns and those that can will email their views to dgf.consultation@bbc.co.uk or answer their on line survey at http://consultations.external.bbc.co.uk/bbc/dgf/consultation
This is the local BBC, news that matters to us - please let your voice count to make sure we keep it. Our local radio station as one of the top 3 best performing stations in the country and we want to keep it that way - thank you all at Radio Stoke & we support you.

Also I have set this epetition up on the governments site please support if you would like to keep the bbc fit for purpose http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/19113

  • Please ring 03700 103 100 for ALL views on local radio we have to have our voices heard or we will lose it! Local radio acts as form of democracy when people are not listing, a friend to many of the old and lonley and a bringing together of the community. We want early morning to late at night & weekend to be kept local - rethink the changes please.
