Peek Email Device Review

You can pick one of these up at RadioShack, AKA TheShack (lol). It costs 19.99 for the Peek Classic, which is the one I have, and 59.99 for the new one. The new one has a text messaging feature and does in fact give you number to text from. Really good to use if you don't want to pay for a data plan just for email! I LOVE this device! I fully recommend it!

Thanks for posting this. There isn't a lot of reviews on the web that go over the newer version of the peek. It would be nice if you have more time later to give it a full treatment - with the camera on something steady. ;-)

haha it's not even my camera and i don't have a tripod or anything :/ but i absolutely LOVE my peek. and i found out that they're working on adding twitter to it! so i'm really excited for that.

Nice review. Not only is this device for people who don't want to pay $30 for unlimited data--it's for people who don't want to talk to anyone. It's all I need: text & gmail. That's it.

the regular one isn't push email, but it's really only like a 2 minute delay. it's not bad at all. the pronto also has text messaging and 5 email account spaces. i only have 2 accounts and my own cell phone with unlimited text so i just got the regular one. it's a $30 difference. just get regular.
