how can the guy say they were cast in the world of underdog? Just because they were against the defending cup champions? because they were missing forsberg? fuck.....no biggie, they had sakic, bourque, tanguay, drury, hejduk, Roy, Foote, Blake.....not to mention they won the president's trophy.....

Just a really fun season. of course the one game i went to we lost haha.

You can't help but love this team. Even wing fans take off their hats to this team and those players. Can't be more proud to be an Avs fan. LETS GO AVALANCHE!!!

If you have a team possible to line up Sakic, Forsberg, Blake, Bourque and Hejduk in a line. You've got one of the best teams through time.

I miss the days of the Red Wing/Avalanche rivarly. It was awesome to watch the intensity of those games. Also, this has to be one of the best stanley cup recap films out there. They do not make them like this any more.

they not one of the best? win the cup first year in the league,11 straight years made the playoffs,9 consecutive division titles, 2 Stanley cups, had the games best players all in 14 years, 2 seasons dont make the playoffs one only off by a point and were clearly not ONE of the best? were in a rebuilding stage this year with 9 rookies and 3rd in the west....you even watch hockey in the last 15 years?
