@YoungAtHeart1941 IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.SWIFT,NO WAY,not the best singer,underwood good singer but no were near CONNIE.She has that yodel that only the older country stars have.great pitch even today.i like paisly,marty stewert,yokam but there more like rock country though better singers than swift.

@firefighter390 - Absolutely RIGHT! The steel player didn't slide with the music! :) I have the original track and it is identical to the one on the video. But you are also right about it being a great song by an absolutely .... words fail me. Connie is just the standard that all the others try to emulate. Just love her and her music.

As bad as I hate to point this out, this is a lip-sync track. I am a semi professional steel guitar player. When the lead break for the steel came up the steel player was not in the correct position to be playing the lead ride....sorry to point this out, it's still a great song. And there ain't nothing but crap coming from Nashville these days...Pop Country = Crappy Music.

The difference between now and then is one simple word: QUALITY. What passes for country music today is mostly a bastardized blend of pop and rock. I just don't listen to it. I can listen to Connie all day and not get tired or bored. She is the definition of quality!
