Photographs, and a few videographs, of Stewart Creek, south of Duluth, Minnesota. These images were captured in July 2012, after the flood that nearly washed Duluth into Lake Superior. The opening shot is a view of Duluth, from Skyline Drive. At the time that picture was taken the road was closed. I was walking from Duluth to Fondulac and stopped at Stewart Creek to cool my feet and look about. The bridge over Stewart Creek, and the roadway, were severely damaged by the floods. This video features the music of Doc and Merle Watson, Deep River Blues. All images and video were collected with an Olympus pen using a variety of "vintage" manual lenses, including a canon 28mm fd, Aus Jena Flektogon 20mm, and Asahi Super Takumar 50mm.
