Come Sat, 27 Jun 2009 @ 9.30pm, the Singapore Tourism Board will close the 9-day long Singapore River Festival with a world record magic act held at Central Promenade by the Singapore River.
Set to a countdown timer in front of an expected audience of 5000 people, J C Sum & 'Magic Babe' Ning will attempt to perform a world record-setting 15 grand illusions in 5 minutes.
The one-off spectacular is aptly entitled The Impossible Record and will be adjudicated by the Singapore Book of Records and the International Brotherhood of Magicians (Singapore & U.S.A). The record is the first ever magic record of any kind to be adjudicated by the Singapore Book of Records and is also being submitted to Guinness World Records.

2 Singaporeans attempting a world record and with magic! that's fantastic! I wish them all the best and good luck. I'll try to be there to give my support. :)
