That won't do a good excuse 'cos I never knew X-men when X-men vs Street Fighter came out. they weren't out in here and I had to wait for the movie to know what X-men exactly is.

Also I should add given the context of your post, I didn't mean it as a reason not to bring the game over, after all Super Smash Bros. had several characters from games that never came state side and it didn't stop nor hurt them.

I can see your point, but let me answer to your questions first.
first, I lived in South Korea. Korea never released any of the American comics before the 21st century.
Second, I think Capcom SHOULD release this in the west. forget about that you don't know a lot of characters in this game, 'cos this game's still awesome, and it could do a good job of promoting things they didn't knew about.
Yes, I think Capcom should do like what Nintendo did.
