I mean, do i have to have the music on the other device to control it?

do i have to have the same music on the remote-device like on the device in the stereo?

I dont have any music on my ipad. If I share my music from my computer to my ipad, can I then forward that shared music to the iPod touch which is connected to the stereo????

do you need to have tango on both devices or just the symbiont device remotely controlling the host device?

For WiFi - Do you have to be connected on a network - like at home with a wireless router, or do the two iOS devices directly pair up with each other without the need for a router? I would rather use WiFi instead of bluetooth. The reason I ask is that I would like to use this app in a remote location (like at the beach = no network just two iPods). Is the WiFi option possible this way?
Tango Remote now supports Videos!

Tango needs to be installed two iOS devices. These can be ANY type of iOS device. Tango supports all versions of iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.

When you're at the beach you can use bluetooth. Tango supports both wi-fi and bluetooth. There is a new wi-fi standard in the works that will allow direct wi-fi connections without a router but the iPhone doesn't support it yet. If you use bluetooth make sure your iPod Touches support it. The early generation touches did not.
