Rogaine may work, but what is better is Propecia. The drug in Propecia is Finasteride. Propecia is expensive and not covered by insurance (because it treats a cosmetic problem); so I suggest convincing your doctor that you have a swollen prostate. Seriously. He'll prescribe Proscar, which is a Finasteride tablet five times stronger than Propecia. And because it treats a medical problem, it'll be covered by insurance. Your hair will then thicken!
