(Sacramento) California Assembly Majority Leader Alberto Torrico (D-Newark) believes Governor Schwarzenegger's revised budget plan, which he unveiled during a speech to a rare joint session of the legislature, should be rejected. Assemblymember Torrico says the slash and cut spending plan does not reflect the true values of Californians. Torrico says the legislature needs to find a better way to balance the state's books than by throwing a million kids out of the health care system while releasing thousands of inmates from the prisons system, as the Governor has proposed. Here's more in this Assembly Access video.
